The International Institute for Research and Innovation on Ageing (4IE) organises two summer courses. One of the courses will be held in Évora (Portugal) on 15 and 16 July and the next course will be held in Cáceres on 18 and 19 July. Attendees can register for both courses or only for the one they wish, for this, they can make the registration through the registration form available. The programme for each course is shown below. Call for papers

The Évora summer school has the opportunity to present papers during the Free Communications sessions. To send proposals to these sessions:
At least one author of each accepted submission must register and present the work during the corresponding session.
The following types of submissions are accepted:

  • Full research papers with a maximum length of 12 pages, including references and appendices.
  • Short papers and position papers with a maximum length of 6 pages, including references and appendices.

All the accepted papers will be published in a post-proceedings Springer CCIS volume. Submitted papers must be formatted in accordance to the information for Springer CCIS authors. More info here.

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form, through which the copyright for their paper is transferred to Springer.
