User-centered design: a human approach

User-centered design: a human approach.

SHORT ABSTRACT OF THE WALK

Although the emergence of the World Wide Web, and its subsequent exponential growth, have meant a radical change in terms of the ease of dissemination and availability of information, the limitations and misuse by designers of prevailing web publishing technologies are giving rise to situations of impossibility of access to information by non-traditional users (elderly, disabled, etc.). From this perspective arises the User-Centered Design, as a focus on the design of products and environments in order to be usable by as many people as possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design.
